After narrowly making my connection in seattle to juneau (plane landed at 1130, didn't get off the plane until 1145 next plane boarded at 1155 on the other side of the airport), I made it to 
Juneau! Its really pretty here, reminds me of colorado with all the mountains and gorgeous views. I was picked up from the airport by Lisa who showed me the glacier and took me to my apartment at bartlett hospital which they didn't have ready so i pseduo moved into a room until they got the apartment clean. Then i decided i needed to go for my daily run into downtown juneau (3 miles away). I went to the Hanger a bar right on the ocean (i think) where all the cruise ships dock. I ate my halibut burger by myself and all of a sudden these cruiseliners started talking to me. Asking me 
what cruise i was on etc. I explained that i was here for three weeks with school and they then offered to by me another beer (and another and another and then just paid for my entire tab). And they hooked me up with two locals, the first my waitress who gave me her number and told me to call her whenever the second was one of the dudes from the dock below us who roped in the float planes after their tours. His name is brady and hes not a lumberjack but definately has the beard to be a lumberjack! he ended up picking me up from the apartment bringing me to the walmart so i could get some stuff and then took me to a beach outside of downtown. i did tell him that i am having you guys rate the guys that i meet and he didn't let me snag a pic but i'll work on it today after i get off work! But i'm on lunch now should probbably head back! pics are to come, check out my facebook i've been using my phone to take pictures and just straight uploading them to there! Everything is well and the sun seriously is out for ever!
