Day Three

Waking up this morning was a little more painful due to the five drinks i got last night. But! alas i was at the hospital at 800 am (which is 1100 am minnesota time... i think thats what makes it easier). Watched the pharmacists type up their prescriptions had lunch went hiking... saw some bear pooo but no bears yet! (thank god) then went back for a couple more hours. There is a prepharm student that started on monday in teh pharmacy and he offered tot ake me out kayaking! Since brady's back is still bothering him (supposedly....) and andy has to work at the bar until 100 (Yes! i am going back to the hanger for dinner tongiht but i highly doubt i can go three nights in a row without paying for my own supper) I thought that I should take brent up on his offer. We are going out sea kayaking tonight from his dock or something..... i am going to take one for the team and bring my 2004 digital camera and pray taht i dont fall in. Brent says that well likely see some seals or something... so look later for pictures! and ill let ya know if i found more cruiseliners to buy my dinner... haha

So now its 1000 pm alaska time andi just got home. After getting off work at the pharmacy at four some plans had changed. Brady called and was able to come over for a little bit, so i ran 1. 2 miles out and 1.2 miles back and did a mini workout and then brady got here. I told brady about my vb parents wanting to see pictuers and rating the boys i met... so i finally scored his pic. He definately is from alaska.... haha.. We then made spaghetti and ate it and did the dishes so i wouldn't have to do them when they're all crusted. We talked and had a fun low key evening. Then about 715 Brent Called, Brady left to go to his friends place downtwon and I went out to go sea kayaking! IT was amazing! i didn't tip (granted we didn't go too far) but went to this mini island not too far from brents hosue, and i walked in my flipflops across the desserted island in hopes of seeing a deer or bald eagle. we only saw the eagles in the air and there were definately no deer or other creatures. I guess the island back in the day was used to breed fox to kill for their coats so there were broken down like... fox pens it was kinda cool. There are two poisonous plants out here (like our poison ivy or poison oak) that you have to look out for. indian rubbarb and devils club. BEWARE! they were all over the island but i am hoping that i didn't step on any!. Also the mosquitos are probably jsut as bad out here as they are in minnesota (probabbly more comparable to being up north in minnesota). We did not see any wild life. so right now i have only seen a wild porcupine. After kayaking Brent broght me to the store so i could get food (THANKS TO NELS who was teh pharmacy student here before me I survived for breakfast times two days and lunch and even made spaghetti for dinner! Thanks man!) and beer so i can relax in at home tonight and try to actually get some sleep. But I am going to start the bachellorete that i missed monday and relax!
